Yahoo E-mail Information / Discussion Group

The QUG committee recently approved a proposal by Chris Burford to set up a Yahoo e-mail discussion group called "Universalist-QUG".  Since then membership of the group has been growing rapidly. The flow of discussion is moderated so as to space out contributions to a maximum of one post per day and a minimum of one post per week. This is for two reasons:

1) to stabilise the tendency of e-mail postings to go in fits and starts, and to burn out after a rush of initial exploratory posts, or sometimes to be overwhelmed by a rush of posts in a chain reaction; and

2) to give time for some spiritual reflection - a contributor can post when ready or when led to, without wondering whether it is just about to cut across someone else's contribution/ministry.

Members can therefore be fairly confident that they join the group they will not feel rushed or flooded by mailings. You may wish to contribute to the discussion or simply read the mailings as a source of information. If you would like to join the group send an e-mail to

        universalist-QUG-owner@yahoogroups.com

saying a bit about yourself, including your name and the country you are from.

Alternatively you can join by going directly to the web address of the Yahoo discussion list at:

 http://groups.yahoo.com/group/universalist-QUG/

You are also welcome to contact the group's moderator, Chris Burford, about any points you wish to clarify by mailing him at cburford@gn.apc.org
